Man held for making threatening calls, sending abusive msgs

A man was today arrested for allegedly making threatening phone calls and sending abusive messages to a married woman after she and her family members refused his marriage proposal, police said.
Accused Mohd Mubeen Hussain, working as an Operation Executive in a private firm here, developed friendship with a woman and wanted to marry her, though she and her family members rejected his proposal and she was married to another person, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detective Department) G Pala Raju said.
"Following the woman's marriage to another person, the accused bore grudge on the lady and on her family members and started threatening them with phone calls and abusive messages," the DCP said adding a case was booked and Mubeen was nabbed from Baba Nagar area here.
