The accused, Ratan Malviya (35), was nabbed yesterday after the girl, a resident of Ganesh Gham colony, lodged a complaint against him, Banganga police station in-charge Y S Tomar said.
The accused sexually assaulted the girl for the first time about four months back by forcefully entering into her house when her parents, both labourers, had gone out for work, Tomar said quoting the complaint.
He then threatened to kill the girl if she disclosed the offence to anybody.
After this, he raped the girl several times when she was alone at home, the police officer said.
