Man held for selling govt land

A man has been arrested by the Economic Offences Wing of Odisha's Crime Branch police in connection with fraudulent sale of government land in Cuttack, police said today.
The accused, identified as Ganesh Nayak, had allegedly grabbed about 15 acres of government land in Bidanasi area and sold it to different people.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Economic Offence Wing raided a building in Jajpur where Nayak was hiding and arrested him last night, Crime Branch ADG BK Sharma said.
The accused was being brought to Bhubaneswar for thorough interrogation, police said.
