23-year-old Banwari Yadav from Bihar was arrested for allegedly trespassing into 'Jalsa', Amitabh Bachchan's residence in the wee hours yesterday, a Mumbai police official said today.
Yadav, who claims to be a singer, entered Big B's house by climbing the compound wall on Sunday afternoon, he said.
He wanted to showcase his talent to the megastar. After Amitabh's staff spotted him, they handed him over to the police, the officer added.
Meanwhile, Yadav was produced before a local court which remanded him in police custody till August 7.
