Acting on a tip-off, the police set up a check post and apprehended one Manu Singh, a resident of Bishnah, and recovered two grams of heroin from him in the Gangyal area of Jammu, a police officer said here.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to selling contraband to locals in Gangyal and that he was the main supplier in the area, he added.
The accused was arrested and booked under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, the official said, adding that the investigations were on.
