Man held with illicit liquor in Jammu

A man was arrested and 42 pouches of illicit country made liquor was recovered from his possession, police said today.
Ashok Kumar, resident of Sidhra area of Jammu, was arrested today along with 42 pouches of illicit liquor, during a surprise checking by the police at the Tawi Bridge in Sidra area of Jammu city, they said.
A case under various sections of the Excise act has been registered against the accused and investigations initiated, they said.
