The deceased has been identified as Abhimanyu Das (35) and the police said some miscreants came on two motorbikes and hurled bombs at the man while he was returning home along with two of his friends.
Locals rushed Abhimanyu and two others to the district hospital at Jajpur town where he succumbed to his injuries. The injured are undergoing treatment.
"Previous enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the killing," said Asit Kumar Mohanty, Inspector In-Charge of Binjharpur police station.
