Ashok Kumar, a resident of Mirzapur, died on the spot after the motorcycle was hit by the truck last night. His pillion rider Chandrama Prasad was injured in the accident, and was being treated at a hospital, they said.
The body has been sent for autopsy.
The truck has been seized and its driver arrested.
