Man killed by friend during drunken argument

A middle-aged man died after being hit on the head by a beer bottle allegedly by his friend during a quarrel over some issue at a farm house in Fatehpur Beri area of South Delhi, police said today.
Panga, 45, was drinking along with his friend Ram Kumar on the grounds of the farm house last night when they got into an argument, a police officer said, adding, both were employed at the farm house.
The body of Panga was found by a passerby who informed others at the farm house. When police reached there, Ram Kumar was found lying a short distance away from the body.

Ram Kumar's body bore injury marks but he was doing fine and was taken to a hospital, the officer said.
Investigations revealed that both got into an argument after drinking alcohol together.
Ram Kumar alleged that he was attacked by the deceased and used the beer bottle to hit back in defence, he said.
A case of murder has been registered at the Fatehpur Beri police station, he said, adding further investigations are on.
