Man killed by 'mentally disturbed' person

A 36 year-old man was killed in Revsa village here this evening, allegedly by a mentally disturbed person.
Ram Vilas was hit by a bamboo stick on the head in Alinagar police station area, resulting in his death, station officer Arun Yadav said.
The assailant identified as Ramesh has been arrested, the SO said, adding that he had returned from jail after serving eight years in connection with the murder of his wife and son in 2005.
He has not been able to give any reason for attacking the deceased in the interrogations so far and according to villagers, he was not mentally fit, the SO said.
