Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants killed a man in Bandipora districts of Jammu and Kashmir by slitting his throat last night, police said today.

"Police, in the pre-dawn hours of Friday, recovered throat-slit body of a man in Hajin area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district," a police spokesman said.

He said Mohammad Yaqoob Wagay was brutally killed by militants near his home at Gunda Preng village in Hajin area.

"Investigation indicates complicity of banned LeT terror outfit's local terrorist Saleem Parrey in this killing," the spokesman said.

Police have registered a case and started investigation into the matter, he added. PTI MIJ .
