Man kills girlfriend, commits suicide

A girl was shot dead allegedly by her lover, who later committed suicide in Majhila area, police said here today.
Prachi Shukla (21) was shot dead by Putai Agnihotri late last night in Egwa village where she had gone to her uncle's house, Senior Superintendent of Police Govind Agarwal said.
When chased by the family members Putai entered a nearby orchard where he shot himself and committed suicide, SSP added.
