Man kills self over alleged marital dispute

A 22-year-old married man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous pills at his residence at Ajay Nagar colony here, police said today.
The deceased has been identified as Neeraj Kumar. They took the drastic step last night, they said.
His wife Reena Devi, along with their 5-month-old son, had been living at her parental house in Hyderabad for the past some time owing to domestic bickering with her husband, police added.
Notably just before ending his life, Neeraj had conveyed such information telephonically to his wife Reena in Hyderabad who instantly telephonically informed her father-in-law Hukam Chand all about it here, police said.

Neeraj had recently gone to Hyderabad as well to bring to Rewari his wife Reena who turned down his plea and did not come, police said.
In the meantime, police today held inquest proceedings regarding Neeraj's suicide under section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
