A 16-year-old boy was allegedly killed by a 23-year-old man in Ulhasnagar in Maharashtra's Thane district apparently over an old enmity between them, police said Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Sundaram Nishad, was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon at around 10:30 pm Tuesday in Azad Nagar locality by one Bipin Yadav, a police officer said, adding that Nishad died on the spot.
The officer said Yadav bore grudge against Nishad, as the latter had attacked him in the past.
Ulhasnagar police station senior inspector S G Javale said a case of murder has been registered against the accused, who is absconding, on the complaint lodged by the victim's brother.
