Ramashray Rajbhar killed his wife Malti (35) and son Sunny Kumar with a sharp-edged weapon in Tadiyaon village this morning, they said.
Ramashray has been arrested along with the murder weapon.
A case has been lodged on the complaint of Ramashray's father Hari Rajbhar, they said.
The reason for the murders is not yet known, they added.
