Man kills wife over domestic feud

A 32-year-old woman residing in Vasai area of the district was allegedly killed by her husband in the wee hours today, police said.
The couple - Amarawati Yadav (32) and Dharamraj Yadav (35) - used to have frequent quarrels over petty issues. The husband also doubted his wife's character, they said.
Both of them again had a fight at their house in Phulpada locality late last night following which Dharamraj allegedly beat up his wife and hit her with a heavy object at around 3 AM today, resulting in her death, police said.
The accused then fled from the spot.

Police have sent the body for postmortem and registered an offence under IPC section 302 (murder).
A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused, police added.
