Man mauled by big cat

A 45-year-old man was mauled by a big cat in Mailani forest area when he had gone to collect wood, the police said today.
Pug marks at the site suggest that the man was attacked by a big cat.
The victim Jagdish was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition, where he died during treatment.
South Kheri forest officials are at the spot.
Forest officials have warned people living close to reserve forest areas not to venture into the woods as this may result in a conflict with wild animals.
