According to complainant, the accused had called the victim in the basement of their office on September 23. He then raped the woman after offering her spiked soft drink.
He also threatened the victim of dire consequence, if she revealed the incident to any one, said the investigating officer ASI Rameshwari.
Overcoming the fear, the victim lodged a complaint yesterday with Women Police Station Sector-16A, leading to the arrest of the accused, the ASI said.
The provisions of SC/ST act were also invoked in the case, the ASI added.
