Man pushes minor boy to death from building

A 25-year-old man from Mumbra in the district has been arrested for allegedly pushing a minor boy to death from a multi-storey building, police said here today.
The accused, identified as Kiran Tambe is a habitual drinker and had asked the 10-year-old boy to fetch some liquor for him last evening, police said.
However, when the boy refused to bring liquor for him, the accused lost his temper and took the victim to the terrace of a multi-storey building in Dativali Road area and pushed him to death, they said.
According to police, the child, identified as Rahul Chavan died on the spot.

The accused has been booked under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), police said.
