Man robbed in running train

A man was allegedly robbed of Rs 50,000 at knife-point in a train near Cantt station here, police said today.
Veer Bahadur, working as a plumber in Mumbai, was returning to Gorakhpur with his relatives via Dadar Express last night, when the alleged incident took place, GRP sources said.
The victim had gone to the toilet in the train, when the assailants cornered him and robbed him of Rs 50,000 at knife-point, the sources said, adding that when he resisted, they beat him.
Bahadur was admitted to the district hospital for treatment, they sources, adding that the matter is being investigated.
