Man sentenced to 10 years for raping woman

A local court sentenced a man to ten years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a married woman in Hardi area of the district.
Additional sessions judge, Awadh Bihari Singh sentenced the accused Rambriksh yesterday after holding him guilty under section 376 of the IPC.
According to the FIR, he had raped a married woman on November 5, 2011 when she was alone at her house here.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 30 thousand on him.
