Man sentenced to 10 yrs RI in rape case

A man was sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment by a local court here in a rape case.
In March 2003, the 11-year-old victim was raped by Brijesh Kumar Verma (24) while she was all alone at her house in Ramnagar area, assistant government counsel Rajkumar Verma said.
He said that on the basis of evidences, Judge Rajesh Singh held Brijesh guilty yesterday.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 6,000 on the accused.
