The incident took place around 1 PM near the airport when two armed robbers on a motorcycle waylaid one Joginder (26) and tried to snatch his bag containing cash.
When Joginder resisted, the miscreants fired a shot at him which missed him and instead hit the victim Ranjeet Singh.
"As Singh collapsed in a pool of blood, the two robbers fled from the spot taking Joginder's bag which contained Rs 77 lakh. A police a team from Dwarka north station rushed the victim to a hospital where he was declared brought dead," a police official said.
