Man shot dead by brother and three others

A 52-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by his brother and three others over long-standing land dispute at Rabda village in Palamau district today, police said.
The accused Yogendra Mahato along with three others came to the victim Navratan Mahato's place this afternoon and opened four round in the midst of the conversation, police said.
Navratan was fatally injured, sources said adding a FIR has been registered on basis of his son Ritesh Mahato in this connection.
In the FIR, Ritesh stated that his uncle and three others were having conversation over the disputed land and heard four rounds of shot fired as soon as he went back into his house, he said.

When he rushed out, his father was lying in a pool of blood, he added.
Police has recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.
