Man shot dead by cousin over family dispute

A 38-year-old man was allegedly shot dead today by his cousin in Gagan Vihar area here over a property dispute.
The victim, identified as Rohtas, had come to the area along with his father Prem Singh for buying a plot of land in the area when the accused Vikram and his accomplice came on bike and opened fire, police said.
Rohtas was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead, they said.
Based on complaint filed by the victim's father, Sahibabad police have registered a case against Vikram and his accomplice, who is yet to be identified.
Rohtas was a resident of Loni area of the district.
