Man shot dead by younger brother

A man was today shot dead allegedly by his younger brother in Bihar's Rohtas district over property dispute, a police officer said.
The incident took place in Milki village as the younger sibling Lalbabu Chaudhary fatally shot at his older brother Hanuman Chaudhary (50) over a landstanding row between them over property, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Ashok Kumar Das said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, he said, adding the victim's wife Devanti Devi has lodged a named FIR against her brother in-law charging him with the murder of her husband.
The accused was absconding, the SDPO said, adding raids were being carried out to nab the culprit.
