Yogendra Giri (48) was shot dead by unidentified armed men when he resisted their attempt to loot the jewellery shop in Trilochan market late last evening, Additional Superintendent of Police Ramji Singh Yadav said today.
He said that another person, identified as Ram Lal, was also shot at by the attackers, who escaped with the jewellery.
