Devendra Parihar (28) who along with his two of his associates Gelu and Pintu were returning to Sijora village last night on motorcycle after having food at a roadside eatery when they were stopped by the three miscreants with an intention to loot them at Orchha square near Pratappur Industrial area, Orchha Police Station In-charge, Dileep Yadav said.
When the victims opposed them, they shot Devendra on his forehead and also fired at Gelu causing bullet injuries on his hand, he said.
The miscreants later decamped with Rs 5200 from them.
Police have registered a case against accused Anul Dhimar, Mirkesh and Pavan in this regard and is further probing the incident.
