Man shot dead in Sakchi locality

A man was shot dead by unidentified persons in busy Sakchi locality here this evening, police said.
The victim identified as Niranjan Singh, a resident of Jugsalai area here, was sitting on his motorcycle when an unidentified person shot at him, police said.
Singh was rushed to nearby hospital but the doctors declared him dead, sources said.
Superintendent of Police (City) Prabhat Kumar rushed to the spot to investigate the incident.
Police has procured footage of the incident from CCTV cameras and has launched a hunt to apprehend the culprit.
