Satyapal Singh was walking home late yesterday night when the four assailants fired several rounds at him on the street in Bhamura Patti village, killing him on the spot, they said.
On the basis of the complaint filed by the victim's son, an FIR has been lodged against Rohtash, Jugendra, Umran and Maukam, they said.
Singh's body has been sent for postmortem, police said, adding that efforts were on to arrest the accused.
