Accused Shahbaj took his brother Shahjad yesterday to an isolated area near his house and killed him by slitting his throat. He dumped the body in a ditch within the perimeter, they said.
According to the FIR filed today by the family members, when Shahbaj came home without his brother late at night, they started enquiring about him.
The accused allegedly confessed to the murder and led the members to the whereabouts of the body, the police said.
