Man stabbed to death for objecting to harassment of sister

A youth was stabbed to death allegedly by four persons when he objected to his sister being harassed by them here, police said today.
The girl complained that the accused were harassing her and when her brother Lakshman objected to it, the four persons stabbed her and fled from the spot, police said.
He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
On the basis of the complaint, an FIR was registered against the accused Deepak, Kapil, Suraj and Dharmpal on the charges of murder and eve-teasing, they said.
The victim's family members today blocked a road at Janta Colony demanding the arrest of the accused.

The blockade was lifted after Station House Officer Vedprakash pacified them.
Later, one of the accused, Kapil was arrested and a hunt was on for the others.
