Man threatened for protesting against rash driving

The accused Ashok, Deepak and Pushpinder, residents of Sorkha area here, were on their way to some place when their vehicle hit one Gaganjit, police said.

When victim's father Gurmit protested against their rash driving, one of them pulled out a pistol and threatened him before fleeing from the site by firing shots in air, they said.

An FIR was lodged against the trio on a complaint by family members of the victim, who also lives in the same locality and has identified the three accused who are still at large, they said.
