The deceased, identified as Akhilesh Sardar, was found lying under a tree in Dwarka sector 23 area with a head injury and a bleeding nose, said a senior police officer.
He used to work as a labourer in Gurgaon and was found lying on the footpath around 10.30 am today morning, he added.
The deceased was a native of Bihar.
Police is probing the case from two angles - that of murder and an accident.
"It is suspected that Akhilesh was killed somewhere else and his body was brought there. It doesn't look like a case of robbery and it looks as if he was murdered by someone who had personal enmity with him," said the officer.
The area doesn't have CCTV cameras and they don't have any video evidence. However, police is questioning locals to know the exact sequence of events.
