Man working at under construction bridge swept away into Chambal river

A 20-year-old contract labour from Jharkhand working at an under construction bridge here swept away into Chambal river, police said today.

Raju Binha, a resident of Jamshedpur, was taking bath at the river yesterday when strong waves swept him away, they said.

"The body has not been traced so far, however, the rescue operation is underway," the police said.
