Manali continued to be the coldest place in Himachal Pradesh as rain lashed some parts of the state in the last 24 hours, the local Met Office said today.
The high-altitude resort town also received the maximum rainfall of 28.4 mm in the last 24 hours, followed by Kufri hill station (18 mm), Shimla (10.9 mm) and Dharamshala (4.4 mm), said Manmohan Singh, director of Meteorological Centre, Shimla.
The minimum temperature in Manali was 13.4 degrees Celsius, while the maximum was recorded in Una town at 34.6 degrees, Singh said.
The minimum temperature at state capital Shimla was 16.5 degrees Celsius, he added.
