According to police, Bose, the kiln worker in Thadagam area, came to the hotel in Thaliyur Pappanaickenpalayam on the outskrits, late last night and sought food.
As the hotel owner told him that the food was not available at the late hours, Bose entered into argument with him and started abusing, they said.
At this, another kiln worker, Ramamurthy entered into argument with Bose, who in a fit of anger, took a knife lying on the table and stabbed Ramamurthy repeatedly, resulting in his death on the spot.
