Manipur CM's woman security guard dies of bullet wound

A woman security guard of Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh has died of bullet injury, police said today.
However, it was not immediately known whether 22-year-old Priti D Bole committed suicide or received a bullet injury by accidental firing of a colleague, they said.
Bole, who was on duty as a security guard of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), received bullet wound and succumbed to the injuries at J N I Medical Sciences and Hospital here yesterday.
Ibobi Singh was not present at the time of the incident. Police and official sources declined to disclose how the victim received the bullet wound.Her body would be flown to her home state Maharashtra today.

In another incident, militants hurled a grenade at a house at Serou Bazar area in Thoubal district last evening.
No one was injured.
