Manipuri woman found dead in Navi Mumbai

A 34-year-old woman from Manipur fell to death from the balcony of a third floor flat in Kharghar in adjoining Navi Mumbai, under mysterious circumstances.
The incident occurred at Siddhivinayak Darshan CHS in Sector-34 yesterday, police said today.
Niang Ngaih Vung, who lived with her Nigerian partner in Sector 2 in Koparkhairane, had gone with him to Kharghar for the birthday party of his Nigerian friend.
Police said she used to work in Ahmedabad at a health spa before shifting to Koparkhairane, about eight months ago.
"She was currently jobless. We have registered an accidental death report. We are inquiring with those present at the flat," a police official said.

"We have also summoned two Manipuri women working at a 5-star hotel in Bandra Kurla Complex, with whom she communicated on WhatsApp on Thursday till 11.30 pm, to check if there is some foul play," he said.
