He also asked them to prepare a country-wide list of people of Bihar working beyond India's borders.
Manjhi directed officials to develop a mechanism to survey child labourers engaged in carpet weaving at Bhadoi in Uttar Pradesh and various industries in other states and make efforts to rescue them.
Chief Minister gave the directions while reviewing the functioning of LRD, including insurance and welfare schemes related to labourers.
LRD Secretary Sanjay Kumar said the CM has asked to take action against persons at whose installations the rescued child labourers had been working.
Speaking at the review meeting, Manjhi also ordered officials to provide Rs 20,000 instead of the current Rs 15,000 for buying tools and bicycle.
Manjhi approved the housing scheme for 'bidi workers' under which the Centre will provide Rs 75,000 while the state will contribute Rs 25,000 for constructing houses.
