In Patna, Bihar Assembly Speaker Uday Narain Choudhary was today authorised to decide whether JD(U) or BJP would sit in the opposition gallery during the confidence vote on February 20.
"Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi would be able to sail through the political crisis. And, BJP would would emerge on top in the coming Assembly elections in Bihar and UP," Joshi claimed.
Meanwhile, embattled Chief Minister Manjhi, who did not attend the all party meeting in which the decision was taken, put up a show of confidence claiming that he has majority support and would sail through the trust vote.
He also said that the Centre was looking to establish an airport here but the state government has not furnished any land for that proposal.
The Kanpur MP also expressed grief over the recent attack on an Indian in the US.
