Manoj Bajpayee, who started his career on TV with Doordarshan's 'Swabhimaan', is returning to the small screen with a crime-based show.
After 'Swabhimaan', Bajpayee got a big break with 'Satya' and went on to work in films such as 'Zubeida', 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Rajneeti' among others.
'Encounter', the crime show in which he would be appearing, would be aired on Sony Entertainment channel.
It will trace the back stories of various encounters.
Bajpayee is not hosting the show, but it is yet to be known in what capacity he will be associated with it.
