Maoist ultra killed in encounter

At least one suspected Maoist operative was killed and two guns seized during an encounter between security personnel and Maoists in Odisha's Bolangir district today, the police said.
The encounter took place this evening when Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel and district police were on combing operation at a jungle bordering Bolangir and Nuapada districts.
As the Maoists fled from the spot after a 45-minute gun battle, a body of a suspected Maoist and two guns were found at the place.
The body was yet to be identified.
