Inspector in-charge of Chitrakonda police station, Irfam Kiro said today that a group of armed rebels had abducted Sarat Khara(30) from his house at remote Kuturpadar village on Wednesday,.
His body bearing a with gun shot mark was found on the outskirts of nearby Panasput village this morning, he said.
Khara had quit his home guard's job about four years ago following threat from ultras, who killed him now suspecting him to be a police informer.
Police have rushed to the spot and launched an investigation, he added.
