Maoists today triggered a blast at a petrol pump located in Bihar's Aurangabad district, police said.
However, there was no report of any casualty.
About twelve armed Maoists raided the Indian Oil petrol pump in Khesar police station area and held some employees hostage before setting off a bomb in a cooking gas cylinder, destroying fuel worth lakhs of rupees, the sources said.
The ultras carried out the blast at the petrol pump after its owner Baijnath Prasad refused to pay levy to them, they said.
An FIR has been lodged in this connection by petrol pump employee Arvind Yadav, the sources said.
