Margot Robbie joins 'Suicide Squad'

The 'Wolf of Wall Street' star Margot Robbie has joined 'Suicide Squad' and will play The Joker's girlfriend Harley Quinn.
The movie, to be directed by David Ayer, is another retelling of the Batman story.
Quinn was introduced for the first time on "Batman: The Animated Series". She is actually a psychiatrist named Dr Harleen Quinzel who is interested in The Joker and becomes his lover.
The Australian actress' name has been mentioned in the possible cast list alongside Will Smith and Tom Hardy.
British model Cara Delevingne's name has also cropped up for a negative role in the movie.
Most recently, Jared Leto reportedly was in negotiations to play The Joker in the Warner Bros adaptation of DC antihero comics.
Robbie has a busy slate ahead as Jane in 'Tarzan', Will Smith starrer sci-fi movie 'Focus and 'Z for Zachariah'.
