Martyred soldier's last rites performed with full honours

Last rites of Naik Kulwinder Singh, one of the three army men who laid down their lives thwarting terrorists in Arnia Sector of Jammu, was today performed in his ancestral Gakhal village with full state honours.
Singh (35) was serving with the 5th Battalion, the Sikh Light Infantry (OP HILL). His mortal remains were brought back to Jalandhar this morning.
In a terror strike yesterday, militants wearing combat uniform attacked two Army bunkers close to Indo-Pak border leaving 10 people including three civilians and as many army men dead in a fierce gun battle with security forces.
