Mary Kom and other top pugilists arrive in Meghalaya

Top pugilists of the country, including Olympic bronze-medallist M C Mary Kom, has arrived here for the trial for the upcoming 12th South Asian Games scheduled in February.

for her practice today, expressed satisfaction with the preparation.
Meghalaya Boxing Association president John F Kharshiing, secretary Larry Kharpran and coach Torak Kharpran officially welcomed the pugilists.
Residents of Mawlai area also gathered in huge number to get a glimpse of the Manipuri woman boxer, an Olympian and five-time world champion.
