Masoor, its dal weaken on muted demand

In restricted activity, masoor and its dal prices fell by up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market today on sluggish demand from retailers against sufficient stocks position.
However, other pulses traded in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled at last levels.
Traders said easing demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in masoor and its dal prices.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold finished lower at Rs 5,150-5,300 and Rs 5,300-5,350 from previous levels of Rs 5,250-5,350 and Rs 5,300-5,400 per quintal respectively.
Its dal local and best quality also eased by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,600-6,100 and Rs 5,700-6,200 per quintal.
