The British rocker is extremely concerned about the state of the environment and worries humans are heading towards extinction, reported Contactmusic.
"Organisms that take more than they require from nature go extinct and that's where we are. That's just the bottom line. I think everybody knows it but nobody's doing anything about it."
Bellamy believes installing more women in positions of political leadership would be a simple solution to the issue.
"I do think if all politicians were women, the world would be a better place. Men compete for natural resources in the hope it will secure their chances of getting laid, that's what men do.
